This page explains, in plain words, how the photographs and memories on Winifred's memorial are looked after — and how to ask for something to be changed or removed.
Who this memorial belongs to
This website was created in loving memory of Winifred Drummond at the request of her family. The photographs, words, and memories shared here belong to the family and to the people who kindly contributed them. They are gathered here for one purpose only: to remember and honour Winnie.
The memories and photographs shared with us
When someone shares a photo or a memory, we take it on trust that they have the right to share it — and that anyone else who appears in a photograph is content for it to be included. Contributions are reviewed by the family before they appear, so nothing is published without a caring eye first.
How what you share is used
Anything you share is used only on this memorial website. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never passed to anyone outside this purpose. This site does not track you, profile you, or use advertising cookies.
Asking for a change or removal
If you would like a photograph or a memory changed or removed — whether it is your own, or one in which you appear — you only need to ask. There is no form to fill in and no reason needs to be given. We will always honour a removal request, with kindness and without question.
We aim to respond to every request quickly and personally.
Keeping the memorial safe
This memorial is hosted and maintained on the family's behalf, so that it remains a safe and lasting place to return to. The family always keep their own copy of everything gathered here.
